The Guides and Their Numbering
Each guide has printed on it:
The case number (4718);
A code indicating the order of use and the type of drill to use with that guide (7C).
For example:
7C
indicates that it is the 7th guide to be used with drill 'C'
.

Before you start
Always check the fit of each and every guide
before you start carving:
1) You place the Optragate;
2) You check that each guide fits correctly over the arch.
Tip: use an intraoral mirror to verify the occlusal fit.

Struggling to pass the guides? Are the flaplets breaking?
Beware of these three mistakes:
Passing the turbine WITHOUT pressing the pedal before preparation.
Incorrect turbine inclination
Placing the turbine too horizontally, causing friction between the turbine and guide.

Struggling to pass the guides? Are your wings breaking?
The solution:
You should always enter with the turbine active (PEDAL PRESSED), until you have finished with the box.
Correct the disc's inclination. In this system, you must stop looking at the bur, look at the disc.
Turn the back of the turbine towards you, to prevent the turbine neck from colliding with the guide.
